Tennessee did not lose to BYE.

ETA...UT is 6-1 this season...previous year's starts at this point (March 1st) in the season:

2014 - 9-0 (finished season 31-23, lost first day of SEC tourney)
2016 - 5-1 (finished season 29-28, lost first day of sec tourney)

Looking for the typical floundering March and April...late correction in May to barely make the SEC tourney, then lose the first day. Hooray for mediocrity.

I will concede that, while UT's opponents haven't been formidable...it is pretty impressive to rack up a 6-1 record without playing a single home game. UT has their first home game this Friday. When UT starts SEC play, against USCe on March 17th, they will have played a total of 4 home games.

Arkansas lost its first game of the season on the road at Louisiana Tech. Game 2 is today, then Arkansas leaves Ruston to Frisco, to play in a weekend tourney there against Arizona, Nebraska, and Oklahoma State.

Much bigger fish to fry this weekend and need to keep the good arms rested.

We got beat by Memphis 9-6. We had 4 errors and our best hitter and the pitcher who was supposed to start both had the flu. No excuse because Memphis made pitches when they needed them and made those errors hurt. Hopefully we got that out of our system before the big weekend in Houston.

LSU won 3-2 vs Nicholle State.

Head to Houston for the Minute Maid classic this weekend. Play #1 TCU, #17 Baylor, and #12 Texas Tech. First huge weekend test of the season and will be fun to watch.

Auburn lost 7-6 to Samford. Gave up a 6 run first inning, then the comeback fell short. We gotta find a fourth starter to not blow these weekday games.

I meant in general for the SEC on the night. Not for Arkansas specifically.

Sure it can. It's also played in May and June quite a bit.

Please remind Texas A&M that this is a tournament without an actual championship game.

Memphis didn't beat us because of their pitching, they beat us because of ours. Not only did we have four errors we also walked four, I think, and we hit FIVE batters. No doubt you have crazy games like that throughout the year. Hope it's several weeks before we have another.
