If LSU wins this week and sets up GOC III then it will be for CFP spot provided winner can close the deal afterwards.

Would be a big assumption for LSU, considering we would likely be a small favorite @aTm and an underdog against UGA in Atlanta.

Only way a non sec champ makes playoffs this year is if a one loss bama (to LSU WITH Tua out) gets in OVER a 2 loss SEC champion from the East (But Florida, UGA, and Kentucky won’t all lose again)
This would make them the only one-loss SEC team, with their starting QB out on the road at night in Tiger Stadium. If this were the case I could see playoff committee taking them over a two loss SEC champion from the east.

Right, but it’s unlikely that they all do, which would have to be the case for a 2 loss team from the east to win the sec. I don’t think a one loss bama would jump a one loss Georgia that beat LSU in the rematch

An insider on our board is reporting this. If true, Jalen will be the starter against Tennessee and perhaps even LSU

He can actually play in a limited capacity at Tennessee.

I would hope we wouldn't use him against Tennessee unless we absolutely needed him. Rumor is he will be close to 100% against LSU. I say rest him against Tennessee and save him for a game that we can actually lose.

Bama was good but not nearly as good with Hurts. Tua’s Touch on the 10 yard slants abd skinny posts is incredible. Hurts isn’t half as accurate.

Plenty high end athletes have a knee scoped and play less that 2 weeks later.
Jacob Hester had the procedure and played a bowl game 8 days later.
