My first assignment as a lieutenant (1st Battalion, 27th Infantry - Wolfhounds) was Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. I got hooked then. Make it every couple of days for breakfast.

Yep. Hot dogs were the best food I found in Hawaii. They had those shops where they bore out a hole in a bun and drop the frank down in it. Other than that it was a $200 meal or Spam
