...but JOE BURROW is better and stole the Heisman from Tua on his own home field.

Well, I'll be damned. That was a very nice statement. You are a good corndog and I believe that I judged you wrong.

I believed you were a relentlessly bitter, acrimonious, resentful twat. I was wrong.

The one and only reason to pick Joe B over Tuna is health.

Tua is a mirror image of the guy who will win NFL MVP this year if that guy got hurt every year. If injury weren't a concern Tua would go #1 period.

Stats say otherwise.

Burrow can read a defense far better than Tua ever could. Sorry, Papa Tua but that is not something you can beat into a kid.

Joe Burrow has:

Better completion percentage
More passing yards
More completions per game
More yards per game
More passing TDs
More points responsible for

And he's not injury prone.

Was Tua ever really the front runner though? He missed a game and on top of that, Chase Young at the time had an amazing 4 sack performance. I don’t think Joe Burrow ever didn’t have the Heisman in hand.

Uhhhhhhh, no. Russell Wilson is one of the most athletic QBs to ever play the game. His arm strength is A+. Tua’s arm strength will be a problem at the next level.

It’s statements like this that make the rest of us make fun of you loony fricks.

I think Tua sucks. Had a healthy, running Jalen Hurts been on the team, he starts. He runs first score in for a TD, then who knows after that.

On second thought: Tua and Jalen both suck and LSU still wins

Going to be sweet when Tua raises the trophy after the title game - Joe and O can go French-lick the Heisman - hope it tastes sweet - get back to us when you win some hardware - RTR...…………….

You better pray for a LOT of chaos to happen because they're gonna need some help to get there...

What good is the most talented player in the world if he stays on the bench hurt? As far as the NFL, Tua has very limited experience against quality competition. He would have to face that week in and week out to make it in the NFL.

Literally none of this shite is true.
Wilson has a bit better than average arm strength just like Tua. His athleticisms is good (most athletic ever is absurd), but Tua is very comparable.

Ball comes out similarly with Tua having a slightly lower release point. Quickness of the throw, pocket presence, pre-snap reads - all complete carbon copies.

But. . . Wilson has never missed a game. One of the reasons his team had never had a losing season.

They’re both great QBs. I entered that stadium thinking Burrow was clearly better, and the stas support that - not just the raw stats, but the advanced stats, like rating when pressured, and percentage when throwing downfield. But after watching the game, my opinion of Tua went up. He was dropping dimes.

He’s an enigma, though. On the season he had a great 75% completion rate. Against the only real defense he’s faced he went 21 of 40...but for over 400 yards. And that wasn’t because of YAC.

On the other hand, Burrow did what he’s done all season - read what the defense was doing and take what they’re giving. He carved that defense up no matter what they sent at him.

Two NFL teams are going to be very happy. I’d take Burrow over Tua unless I could get convinced that Tua’s injuries are not likely to continue, and then it would be a toss up.

Yes, I am just sad we won’t get the chance to hold the trophy, the Sugar Bowl trophy, that is.
Guess we will have to settle for the plain olde National Championship trophy a week later in New Orleans.

Unclear. Tua looked like shite vs Clemson and frankly Bama hasn't had much competition this season.

You're one of the good ones.

This was more directed at the knuckle dragging portion of your fanbase who have spent the last 14 months berating Burrow and acting like Tua was simply untouchable.

And to be clear, I do like Tua. I'll be rooting for him at the next level (except when he plays the Saints of course).

Tua's great if you can keep him healthy.
Probably truly great to be honest.

But you can hit Joe with a truck and he'll pop up and call you a girl and go a hundred yards to make you know it.

Nick Saban should be put on trial for the killing Tua's draft stock. No one has the guts to ask him why tua was playing vs LSU after surgery. This is the second year he has did this to that kid and it is just sad. Nick does not give a damn about his future. Tua has dropped from #1 overall pick to maybe 3rd or 4th Qb taken in draft. Tua should shut it down for the rest of the season and get completely healthy for the combine. The way he was limping they will have to shoot him up again because against auburn dline he will need a miracle to finish that game.
