Fair enough. I don't watch enough of his games but is that because when he's healthy he takes off and runs? Or were you referring to his ability to throw the ball when healthy? I know leg injuries, especially from your plant leg, can affect your throwing but it doesn't seem to have hurt him too much because he still throws for a lot of yards and he still seems to move well in the pocket to avoid pressure even with the injuries.

I know the NFL game is changing but running is another aspect of his game that's going to be limited by defensive game planning and the parity in the NFL.

Yeah Tua is really good take nothing away from him.

Burrow may end up having one of the best historical season for an SEC QB ever. Cam, Tebow, Danny W, a few others have been awesome also, but this one will be up there. We'll talk about it for years.

yeah, more so this. Stepping into a throw with a defender(s) in your face, or trying to evade a defender(s) and roll out, is a lot easier mentally and physically when you don't have a leg injury.

I wouldn't be surprised either way with Tua as far his NFL career goes. We'll see. The talent is there.

I doubt ala loses to auburn. Auburn’s d is better but their off can’t keep up with ala my opinion. I agree with an earlier poster that tua is still hurt and that saban and therefor the school have some responsibility. I think that’s why you hear saban saying tua is fine and that he has been told by doctors he is fine. The man is not fine and likely would not have needed the surgery had he been willing to wait a couple of extra weeks to heal. Since LSU won it appears that the surgery didn’t help alabama. I certainly believe that anytime you put a screw through someone’s bone their is a likelyhood of arthritis down the road. This young man may regret having either surgery when he is older. Of course he has no pain now from the first surgery and I’m sure this played into his decision to have surgery on the other side. Arthritis can be very debilitating and the university should ultimately be responsible.
