With an August return, CFB could start on time.

I’d be shocked if this happens, to be honest.

No timeline he has given has come true yet.

I'll wait till August before figuring out if CFB/NFL are starting on time.

I’d listen to the CDC before Trump. He seems to be about 2 weeks behind on everything concerning the corona virus

He also was the one who decided for them to stop play.

I think President Trump has kind of taken on the role of remaining as positive as he can. That's not a bad thing, but I think a timeline like this is just a hopeful thing to put out and isn't necessarily practical. We may have a lull through the summer, but like the flu, we will probably see COVID-19 make a comeback (not saying it'll be as bad) in the fall unless there is a vaccine in place.

I don't think anyone can really even make a good estimate right now as to when sports can return.

As long as there is a season I don’t care if it starts on time.

Only if there is a second wave. As it stands right now, the models are being proven wrong on a daily basis. Cases and deaths are falling in Europe and I personally believe we'll be on the other side of this thing here in the United States by next Wednesday

I have always said mid-April is the peak and we're gonna be in that time period within the next 7-10 days.

I applaud your optimism. I wish I had equal confidence in our handling of this pandemic.

How in hell would Trump know what this virus will be doing in August?

Easy. It's easy to know everything like Trump when you have absolutely no grasp on reality due to a multitude of factors - such as old age, being handed a few million as a kid, and whatever the hell else is wrong with him.

Literally everything Trump has said regarding coronavirus has been wrong. Him saying this makes me less optimistic that football will happen
