False. He was surrounded with a veteran OL which helped him tremendously. Auburn had talent, just not a transformational one like him.

But Auburn posters here tell us that Cam was better than Joe because Auburn had no talent.

I didn’t tell you that. Cam and Joe are both extraordinary talents.

Cam Newton would’ve won a national title at Mississippi State if he went there. Auburn literally bought MSU’s only hope to win a championship away from them. Rough!

Didn’t they score 100 on South Carolina?

91 points actually

(If you add up both games in 2010 )

Penn Wagers took 14 points differential away from Arkansas in favor of Auburn?

Or 21 points?

Guess it doesn't matter because Auburn beat Arkansas by more than 21 points in 2010

False. Gus knew how to perfectly use him. And that defense was not great as a whole but it was great at making opportune stops at crucial moments, especially with Nick Fairley. See the 4th quarter stops in the iron bowl / Greg McElroy concussion sack. No doubt it was a very lucky team with a ton of close wins, but I wouldn’t say anyone could have plugged and played Cam into a title.

Thanks for admitting you've never played the game in your entire life and have no idea what momentum is

Cam couldnt touch Joe B. With a 15’ pole. Cam was larger than life athlete. Joe B. ls literally the best College QB to ever play the game.

Basically only MSU could’ve plugged him in and went their merry way because of Mullen. Also MSU had a better defense than Auburn. Frankly nearly equivalent offensive talent.

I don't remember Cam but the videos I saw of him at Auburn were unbelievable. A once-in-a-generation talent.

That wasn't Gus. That was Gene Chizik.

I remember him running through the Vols as a true freshman. What could've been.
