You might come up short on some of the categories.

Kevin Faulk leads the SEC in all purpose yards. That's all I got.

That would have been a good one to include. But I wanted to keep it to 12 stats. The answers to the original 12 include player/s from Alabama, LSU, Georgia, Ole Miss, and Missouri.

Jevan Snead (God rest his soul) turned down a 1st Round NFL draft grade and tens of millions of dollars to come back to Ole Miss for his Senior Season under Houston Nutt. He threw 21 picks that season counting our bowl game. I think that has to be a single season record.

Nearly all are guesses
Yeah, I'm horrible with names.

Rushing Touchdowns - Henry?
Receiving Yards - That guy who played for LSU in the early 2000s
Receiving Touchdowns - Same as above
Points Scored - An Auburn kicker
Solo Tackles - DeMeco Ryans?
Total Tackles - A Georgia LB
Interceptions (defense) - Antonio Langham?
Yeah, I'm horrible with names.

I'm surprised LSU fans don't remember KJ Costello. Or maybe they've chosen to forget the Pirates inaugural SEC game.

I thought it was his RS-Jr year he turned into the pick machine. I know once he lost the QB battle with McCoy he committed to Coach Yaw-Yaw had to sit out a year because we had actual rules back then. I thought he had the one good year under Nutt then regressed into the pickfest and decided to enter the draft when he could have come back for his senior year only to go undrafted. Obviously if that were to play out today he would have taken the NIL bag and who knows what happens.

I cheated and looked them up (along with other stats)...and here are my take-aways:
Completion % - There is one QB who is in the top 25 three times.
Pass Attempts - He's also 1st and 2nd in Pass Attempts, just ahead of the Hefty Lefty. Actually, Kentucky has 3 of the top 5 and 6 of the top 10.
Pass Completions - There are 3 QBs from the last century on the board, and they were in consecutive years ('97, '98, '99). Actually there were 2 on in the top 25 in 1997, one of them is on the board twice. Also...the one from 1999 may not be familiar...I had no idea he had over 300 completions. Ok...Kentucky has QBs in the top 25 from '97, '98, '99 and '00.
Adjusted Passing Yds/Attempt - Danny Wuerffel is the only QB from the last century in the top 25, and he's on their twice.
Interceptions - Kevin Fant, Jared Lorenzen Jevan Snead, Bo Wallace and Rex Grossman are the only QBs from this century in the top 25. 7 of the top 25 played in the 1960s. There IS a Manning in the top 25.
Touchdowns - There are no QBs prior to 1995 on the list.
ADHD sucks...
ETA...changed order for clarification

Was that the year that OM came into TS with Snead and Michael Ore and plowed LSU arse. I was at that game and I was surprised that many of my LSU faithful did not take them seriously that year...

Costello holds the SEC record for most passing yards in a game with 623 yards (and 5 TD) against LSU, but he doesn’t hold the single season record.

Pretty dang close.
The only one you got “wrong” was the one left blank.

I know you take a lot of criticism over what you post, and I'll admit I've contributed to that at times. I just wanted to thank you for starting this thread. It was a welcome respite from the endless trolling and negativity that seem to be so common on this site. It was refreshing to read something positive for a change. Thank you again, and I hope we see more threads like this.

Thank you. I actually do like to discuss football and not just flame and troll. It can be tough to do that around here though. I simply don’t have the willpower to turn down the bait much of the time.
And for the record, I do realize there are some good LSU fans here. There is you. There is wolfhound. There is you. I joke….
