This. I think a lot of NFL teams are wondering if he just got hot for 2 months. He needs to prove he can do it consistently to better his draft stock.

He played very well in the playoff games. They have enough to know what they're getting with TC. Solid player and probably a solid human.

I hope he doesn't

Let's not glorify playing in college as the end game for football

Ole miss is gonna suck balls next year...why stay?

NFL is the goal.

Cap nil and let's get back to some normalcy

hope that he does. He deserves another year to put his ability on tape. Good luck.

I don't understand why he deserves that. I think he is a fantastic QB and seemingly great kid. I just don't understand why he should be granted a 6th year based on the facts. Also, I don't think his stock will get higher than it is now and this year's draft is big-time short on capable QBs.

But yes, it would be gigantic for Ole Miss and he could make $$$ for one more year at Ole Miss.

it's bullshite that people are being given so many extra years.

He’s played in only three years. Sat out all of 21 and 22, played in 23, 24, and 25.

Fourth round NFL draft picks are guaranteed a four-year contract and at least $5 million over that four year period. I would guess TC's ultimate goal is to play in the NFL. With all new coaches on the offensive side of the ball, I doubt he has as good of a year as he did last year. Dude is a complete gamer and competitor. Not to mention a great arm, feet, awareness, and best of all sees the field very well. Reminds me of a very young Russell Wilson

So now people can sit on the bench for multiple years and it doesn't count?

bullshite. He used up his eligibility.

They’ve got these things called redshirts. Regular and medical.

Yeah, he took a regular red shirt and doesn't qualify for a medical.

I looked into this already. Go bullshite someone else. The guy is out of eligibility and is trying to use the state to take away the rights of the NCAA to regulate itself.

frick all that.

There was no real medical issue and Ferris state refused to lie on y’all’s behalf.

Hence why he lost his appeal

medical.

But was never granted the medical and per the NCAA never met the criteria for a medical. So he sat the bench.

Why isn't Chambliss entering the draft? This is the weakest QB draft classes in years and his stock will never get any higher.

Why not… There are no rules anymore. College sports is now a career path.

How?

The whole legal premise is the ability of players to make money on their likeness. Obviously it immediately became just pay for play. And obviously as soon as you have any attempts to have a cap there's a big advantage to cheating the cap by some margin.

I think the genie is out of the bottle and can't be easily returned. The billionaires (and to a lesser extent millionaires) will be able to buy players at whatever price they want for a while.

Won’t be long before no one goes to NFL, get paid more in college until you are 35. Take over NFL.

Someone needs to tell him that the faster he gets to the league, the faster his rookie contract clock starts. If he believes he can succeed at the next level, he should go.

The Ferris State head coach and Assistant AD for Sports Medicine both submitted written statements supporting Chambliss’ appeal.
