I am all aboard paying the players.
I do think they should move on in a timely manner and at least attend classes.
that’s all the college i require out of my college football players.

I don't see where he has a legitimate case really.
And to be 100% honest, I don't think people should be given 6 and 7 years.

Diego Pavia just played this entire season under an Injunction. The injunction was put in place in December and rules that Pavia was eligible while the suit was litigated on its merits. The suit is still not finalized.
These people were not outraged at this.
Here again we have people telling Ole Miss what they should or should not do…as if Ole Miss is supposed to play by a more difficult set of rules than everyone else.
Not one person has mentioned the fact that this is Trinidad’s best opportunity to truly his talents for himself and his family.
I suppose that would be fair to them as long as it doesn’t threaten their football rooting interests.

LSU fans seem to be the ones griping about this issue.
The same LSU fans that were hoping to acquire a QB with no eligibility left.
I mean- why did so many LSU fans want him if he was ineligible to play next year?

LSU should just pay $1M him to go pro.

Like it or not, the statement from Mars about a court in Mississippi being a "level playing field" was pretty funny.
Unfortunately, he can’t get a fair hearing elsewhere.

Does any Ole Miss fan think that, on the merits, Chambliss deserves a 6th year? Do they think he was really injured and missed a season due to tonsilitis? Or are they just hoping for a favorable ruling from a hometown judge?
Chambliss has only played 3 seasons. The LSU fans- who were gleefully telling us that he was going to LSU- have made a mountain out of the Grand Canyon here in order to make this seem so egregious and attempt to paint themselves as a victim.
Let’s not forget- Chambliss had no eligibility issues when they were sure he was headed to LSU. He was their QB for next season (but couldn’t play).

Once any sort of ruling is made in Mississippi on the issue, it's valid across the US.

That’s not how the full faith and credit clause works.
Go to NYC with your MS firearms carry license/permit and see how full faith and credit works for you.
One of the ways cases reach the SCOTUS is the appellate court districts ruling differently from each other.

Well he just played against someone older than him.

He’s 23. Every college roster in the country prolly has players older than him.
Dumbass.

In fairness, he'll be 24 in August. Yes there are college football players that old playing, but there shouldn't be outside extreme situations like you didn't even enter college until you were older or you had catastrophic injuries that caused you to miss multiple years. Even with some crazy medical waivers, there still needs to be some firm limit. That 9th year senior for Miami who played last year was ridiculous. That should never be allowed to happen.

So if players don't get PT, is your argument that if they don't play then it shouldn't count against their eligibility? How long should they have to play 4 years from start to finish? As many years as it takes?

This is not a response to his question. The question was do you think his argument has merit, not what some LSU fans thought about him playing at LSU. Those two things aren't mutually exclusive.

It’s through the legal system it’s not cheating if a court says it’s ok. I guess next time we should do it right and steal money from a children’s hospital.
Y’all are just butthurt because he didn’t want to jump to LSU
