Seems their fanbase is getting more delusional and Sharkhumper and Cousin Ed were right about their fans.

I think of Texas and Barnes when i think of that, at some point you have to know that its far easier to hire worse.

It wasn't too long ago that this same fan base was convinced that Dan Mullen was a much better coach than Kirby. WGAS what they think now?

I'm not sure how the fanbase was delusional.
He didn't have UF competing for SEC titles. He couldn't get us ranked in the top 25. We are on the bubble more times than not. He just didn't do a good enough job for UF. Decent guy, not the coach for UF.

Mike White did a Bill Curry.
Bill Curry left Alabama before getting fired and took the out UK offered him.

Mike White got 7 years at an elite program when took over and dragged us to the middle of the pack with bizarre losses and Jekyll and Hyde style of play. We were woefully inconsistent.
He should have been fired two years ago.

In 7 years, he had 4 seasons of .500 SEC play.
Billy Donovan had 4 seasons of that in 19 years.
And thats with White recruiting better "talent" than Donovan did.

UF had a worse history than UGA at basketball pre Donovan. It could go back there.

You aren't getting anywhere with Mike White. Perennially on the bubble. Which I guess its in upgrade for UGA basketball.
