Wemby ( and to a lesser extent Castle) have been dealing with hacking their entire career thus far. 99% of the time they've handled it great, but a lapse in judgement will happen. Castle had his moment vs Deni in the Portland series and now Wemby has his. Still gotta be mature but you also have to stand up for yourself too.
Hopefully Wemby has learned his. Spurs may be new to the game but they aren't going to roll over like Minnesota wants.

Wemby will not be suspended or fined.
Game 5 good to go. Spurs need a win but this is the right decision.

OKC fans know the only team potentially standing between them and a back to back title is San Antonio. That's the entire reason they are trying to gaslight this situation like they don't have Lu Dort and Caruso on their team.
If the NBA wants a return to the 90s Pistons days we certainly have enough people on the team to make that happen. Getting hit in the nuts and elbows to face need to be called fouls regardless of wether it's "playoff basketball" or not. Had it been this mess wouldn't have happened.
Wemby ejection was enough in my opinion, but he'll only have himself to blame if the NBA goes further than that.

Wemby deserved to get ejected. A crash out at that point in the game when the Spurs were doing well was unwarranted regardless of what occured beforehand. Young kid blew up and it cost the team a very winnable game. Leave that to the Julian Champagne of the world not your best player
McDaniels has been fishing for techs/ ejections this entire series. Tried it with Castle in game 3 and failed. Wemby fell right in his trap.
Spurs are the better team but are still so young. Inability to make shots in the 4th quarter has cost us two games. Game 5 is everything and now we are forced to play in Minnesota again.
That being said the referees in this series have 100% been a joke.

Too be fair to them half their team got injured before the season started and Hali missed the year after tearing his Achilles last year.
They should still good next year, but it was a coin flip on wether or not they'd be top-4 (52% yes/48% no).
The bigger loser imo is Brooklyn and Sacramento who are out of the top5

As a Spurs fan I don't really mind the the final possession. Spurs offense only worked when they were moving. Calling a timeout would've given Finch a chance to put Rudy in and setup a defense. Wemby and Fox two of our biggest closers clearly didn't have it on offense. Castle fouled out. So the next best players are either Julian, Devin, or Harper. Julian with a wide open look. Can't ask for much better than that.
I'm ok with this game overall. Spurs biggest weakness was on full display which is size and skill at the 3/4. It's the reason why we match up with OKC so well because Hardenstein is a non factor on O and Wemby 200% owns Chet both mentally and physically. Against monsters like Reid and Randle not to mention Gobert our skill on the perimeter defense gets nullified quite a bit and Wemby has to put in a lot more work on D to help the guards out. They are 3 inches taller than us at almost every position and even though we play great defense they can rise up in the midrange at any point which gives them confidence.
Wemby picked a bad time to have his worst offensive game of the season but he more than made up for it on defense. We can't have Both Fox and Wemby being bricklayers. Mitch will have to earn his money if the Spurs are to advance with some adjustments. Carter Bryant although a rookie needs to heal up because his effort on defense and rebounding was surely missed.
I'm already satisfied with the season. If we lose in the second round that'd be disappointing but for your first time in the playoffs you can't ask for much better They need to upgrade things in the off-season which they will do. The future is bright and this experience will only help them get better next year.
Finally, Ant Edwards is the reincarnation of Kobe. Dude is a fricking dog and tough as shite. Guy lives for the 4th quarter and it was such a gutsy performance today. Next to Wemby he's my favorite player to watch and I hate he got injured at the end of the season to ruin his all NBA chances cause he deserves it.

That dude definitely has "main character syndrome".
He's a narcissist that thinks he's better than he is. He will always play Robin to Tatum.

0% with or without Luka.
Thunder are so much better than them on the perimeter. Much more athletic than this Rockets team. Add in Hardenstein and Chet there should be no reason why the Thunder shouldn't sweep.
That KD burner account should be a fun read tonight lol.

You just know it's coming.
It started today 5-14.
I'll say 3-12 on Sunday.

As a Spurs fan they're a bad matchup for us. Their defense is just crazy when they're locked in. Size at every position kinda like New York ( who's also given us problems this year.)
If they hang on here this will be a massive upset. Id almost thought they'd punt this game to give Naz and Ago so extra rest but they are bringing it to Denver at every turn.

If Boston chokes this series there is going to be an all time meltdown.
Knicks would cruise to the ECF

Largest margin of victory ever in a playoff game is 121-63 Denver/NOLA.
I think we could eclipse that today.

LIV Golf is pivoting its operations in a bid for survival. The breakaway golf tour announced a series of strategic plans on Thursday morning designed to offset the impending loss of the Saudi funding which has backed the tour since its inception.
A LIV Golf source with knowledge of the tour’s operations told Yahoo Sports that LIV is seeking long-term financial partners for the next stage of the tour’s development. The tour has sought to emphasize its continuing commitment to its players, tournaments and fans through what it’s deeming a “strategic transition.” A LIV official acknowledged to Yahoo Sports early Thursday morning that the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) is ending its financial support of the tour after the 2026 season.
This seems like a political campaign vowing to continue to run even after being eliminated. But maybe they can grift more money from random billionaires.

LIV Golf funding is officially dead (update pg.3)
Posted by jfan244888 on 4/29/26 at 4:24 pm
The long-term funding for LIV Golf, the Saudi-backed breakaway golf tour, has been in question for several weeks, ever since Saudi officials outlined a financial future that did not mention ongoing sports investment. Now, according to a new report in the Wall Street Journal, players will be notified Thursday that funding is officially coming to an end.
The WSJ reports that the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF), which has poured billions into the tour over its four-plus years of existence, will end its funding as of the end of this season. The loss of PIF backing would all but certainly end LIV Golf in its current incarnation, with small fields of highly-paid players competing for massive tournament purses.

Gotta admire the no quit in Minnesota
From 22 down to 10 with 4 minutes left.
There's no chance they pull this off.....right?

Minnesota hanging close so far. If this doesn't end up as 15+ point win with all the injuries that will be bad news for the game in Minnesota.

Finally proving his worth after that trade.
What a game for Orlando. Fans should enjoy it. Detroit has no answers they should've made a trade at the deadline. Zero offense.
