This guy knows what he’s talking about. We’re #2 going into Tuscaloosa. We lost by 14 points. There’s no reason to lose to ole miss and Arkansas the way that they did. Les lost the team after the Alabama game which was completely unacceptable.
Fournette could have still been a heisman finalist. We still could have at least been in a NY6 bowl game. Just another example of how Les was in over his head and Sabans foundation plus LSU’s roster made him.

I think the fans had divorced themselves from Les after the BAMA game. They were tired of losing to us. Arkansas and Ole Miss just added to the misery.
In 2008, I was at the Capstone Country Club a couple months after LSU won the Natty. I talked to two LSU grads who were in town visiting friends. I asked one of them how they felt winning the National Championship.
One of them said, “I’m happy we won the National Title. However, I’m afraid we’re gonna be stuck with this guy for a long time. I have a feeling he’s gonna cost us a couple games and probably a big one.” I wish I got the winning powerball numbers from them.

2005 UT offense couldn't score at a hookers convention. IIRC the defense wound up 12th in the nation.

He never deserved the job in the first place. The only reason he got it was because he somehow on a fluke beat bob stoops twice while at ok state which has always been next to impossible.
