Ohio state has 3 national titles in the modern era and Bama has 6 in the 21st century alone and they are ranked behind them? Lmao

You thinking this looks legit just helps prove that most of the people in Mississippi have an IQ around 60.

What is considered blue bloods? In Basketball I think Duke, UNC, Duke
So this list should be smaller..Alabama, Ohio State, Michigan, Oklahoma seems fair.

List is too long and Arkansas is more of a Blue Blood than Ole Miss(and we’re not a Blue Blood at all).
All time:
Ole Miss - 672–529–34 (.558)
Arkansas - 749–555–40 (.572)
Natties:
Ole Miss - 1
Arkansas - 1
Get back down here where you belong. Take a laxative, because you’re full of shite if you think Ole Miss or Wisconsin are “Blue Bloods”. Some idiot who was born after N’Sync broke up probably wrote this shite. Hot garbage.

Ohio State in the Midwest

There's an easy way to do this.

Football
This chart paints the right picture with the right teams, but the order is open for debate..
Bluest Blues (abc)
1. Alabama
2. Michigan
3. Notre Dame
4. Ohio State
5. Oklahoma
A lesser shade of Blue
6. Nebraska
7. Texas
8. USC
Almost Blue
Georgia
LSU
Penn State
Florida
Tennessee
The Basketball Version
The Teams (abc)
1. Duke
2. Kansas
3. Kentucky
4. North Carolina
5. UCLA
Open for Debate
UConn - while they have been dominant for the last 30-40 years, they do not have the history or sustained success typical of a blue blood, but they do have 6 rings since 1999
very similar to LSU baseball imo.. LSU doesn’t have the long history, but LSU has 8 titles since 1990 and that earned them a spot
These aren’t my charts so I’m not sure if they are up to date.

They have a team with 0 national championships ahead of a team with 9 national championships lol.

Problem with using the AP poll for basketball is they never included the postseason until last year.

It’s not a perfect metric, but it’s hard to argue with the results. The Top 5 are the right teams and #6 isn’t really all that close, regardless of metric.

I usually just use 4, and based on 1% to 2% of the viable pool (P5 schools and not G5)
If you add OU, there is a strong claim for them
B1G = Ohio State > Michigan > ???
SEC = Alabama > ???
PAC = Southern California > ???
IND = Notre Dame > ???
Big 8 + SWC = Oklahoma > Nebraska > Texas > ???
The "new" Big 12 is a glorified G5 conference while the old Big 8 + SWC would easily be a P5
