How the frick did we all forget Terrence Cody. He was half the reason our run defense was so damn good in 09. Plus the fact that he singlehandedly won that years installment of the TSiO.

I would move McFadden up on the list if talking about impact on the entire game of football.
After that 2006 season, every team at every level tried to turn their RB into McFadden in the wildcat.

Singleboobedly.
Plus Daniel Lincoln won that game.
Not bitter.

Cody is definitely overrated. I never really saw him as the best DT in football. The hype of Cody just takes away from other efforts on that Bama defense.

McFadden was the truth, twenty years from now he will rank right up there with Bo, maybe not Herschel lol,

He was used on the offense, that was revolutionary

Ingram was not overrated in college, he had a very good career. The NFL on the other hand....the jury is still out....

Cam shouldn't be #1,
Why not? He certainly didn't have as much talent around him as Tebow did.

Cam should be #1 as there is a good chance AU doesn't even make a bowl game without him.

McFadden was so much better than Richardson ever was.

LaRon Landry should be a consideration for LSU. He was straight up frightening.

No. He was not a cancer at all from anything I've heard.

He played for the bengals after that then retired

Exactly. That team without Cam wins maybe 8 or 9 games. Tebow had a lot more talent around him, remember Chris Leak was able to win a national title with that team.
Edit: It took me awhile to admit it, but Cam > Tebow.

The one thing that I think separates Tebow from Cam is that Tebow was an impact player from day one. He played a huge role in UF's 2 titles under Meyer and was a game away from a potential third title. On the other hand, Cam was around for only one season after riding the bench behind Tebow and then playing junior college. So I agree that Cam may have had the single biggest impact of a season, it pales in comparison to the impact Tebow had over a 4 year span of SEC football.
