1. It's not college football
2. It's not college basketball
3. It's no better than high school travel ball - with nothing but douchebag parents in the stands and shitty play

Bring the hate . . .

Ah yes, the tradition of Bama fans saying sports don't matter. I remember when college basketball didn't matter to Bama fans a couple years back.

After another 4 loss season under DeBoer, they will dislike football as well.

I love college baseball. July/August will suck with nothing worth watching on the weekends.

For a lot of years, success in college baseball was all we had at Texas. I really tried to get into it. I like to see us win, but I just can't become emotionally invested, like I am in football.

Remember that time lsu had nick saban. He was on the cusp of making them the greatest sec program in the bcs era……..but then he didn’t, he just walked away leaving you miles behind bama. Gotta love the football gods sense of humor right?

#2 Alabama vs #1 Auburn at Coleman Coliseum this year attendance - 13,474.

Unranked Mississippi State vs #25 Ole Miss at Dudy Noble Field this year attendance - 14,468

A college baseball game outdrew the most important home basketball game in Alabama history.

No one is playing either of these sports right now, and no one gives a shite about recruiting any longer with the portal, so I suggest you start enjoying a really good Bama baseball team.

If not it's your loss, not mine. Lot's of Seinfeld and Friends reruns you can catch up on I guess.

Nor should you. there are 4 times as many games, so you should only be about 25% as invested in a baseball game as a football game.

No offense but you are probably not invested because your team isn’t playing for anything. Not trying to talk trash I enjoyed when Bama had good baseball teams in the 90s. There is nothing like a tight college baseball game when something is on the line. Just in the last 20 years I have seen so much exciting LSU baseball. The 08 Super regional vs UC Irvine, 09 championship vs Texas, 2017 cws vs Oregon state to get to the championship series, 2021 regional vs Oregon, 2023 national chanpionship run vs wake forest and Florida. These games were insane.

Here you guys go. It's a post spring football ranking so you can talk about what might happen 6 months from now. It's very controversial according to the OP. It sounds like a blast.

"No better than high school travel ball"? The term "Dumb & Dumber" comes to mind re this dumb post. Might wanna check the number of SEC players alone who cover MLB's rosters. Two years ago draft? #1,2, & 3 were SEC players. As noted, SEC attendance numbers speak as to how popular college baseball is.
