I grew up watching the end of the Stallings era, then the fricking Mikes-Franchione dark ages. Not once was my Gump level below Ramp Lady.

the expansion of Bryant Denny and complete revamping of the exterior and the creation of the plaza were all started while Shula was coach and he had sell outs for every game his last two years

Is it the main goal for all Auburn fans to discredit anything positive for Alabama. yall are pathetic.

I went to school there during the Fran and Shula years. Even our cupcakes had sellouts in the stadium/on gameday.

Then there are the many stories of bama fas that have not missed a game in person for over 10 years. Home and away.

give it up.

Without doubt, the most loyal fanbase is Vanderbilt. After 40+ years I've never given up, never thrown in the towel. When you look at the sections at our stadium with us older folks, you see the definition of fandom and loyalty.....and now finally, we are beginning to see some glory. Waiting 45 years for a CWS NC and good football..priceless. It's Great to be Gold.

Maybe on your message boards but they weren't on campus. BDS was still full for all SEC games and from what I remember the cupcakes as well. The only big difference was that tickets were much much cheaper.

Wow what a shite list. Clemson over us? Anyone that knows anything about college football knows that while we may not have the winning tradition and history of several schools on that list, nobody can argue we are one of the most loyal fanbases in the country.

Do you AU fricks think if you repeat this lie enough someone will believe it? BDS was EXPANDED by 10,000 seats while Shula was at UA.

UA has never had the loyalty problems that plague the barn.

I live in NW Florida. Eight years ago there wasn't 1/20th of the bama car tags, bama window decals, and bama car flags flying that I see now. I find it hard to believe the population of bama fans, moving into the area, has increased 20 fold over the last seven years.

You mean good teams collect bandwagon fans? I don't believe you.

Honestly, I disagree with several spots, and the lack of South Carolina is, well, just plain WRONG. They regularly sold out back when they sucked.

So then how can said team have one of the "most loyal college fanbases" if their is so many "bandwagon" fans? I think you made my point for me.
