I think that's impressive for LSU, considering our season was shite during the meat of our schedule.

Weird...

One of the reasons these SEC guys said that the league shouldn't take OU is was that the television market was too small and that there weren't enough "eyeballs" to make OU worth it for the league.

Yet OU comes in fifth on this list of the entire country and fourth in the SEC...

I wonder how that happened?

Now we see why Clemson and Florida state aren’t in the SEC.

Aren't you a tech fan?

You'd be lucky to be in the top 20, much less top 10 of viewership even with the season you're having.

Poor Aggy, indeed.

I never really heard anybody question OU. No conference is turning down a true blue blood. OU has a huge national fanbase.

If OU and the Vols didnt go up against the World Series Game 7, Ohio State would have gotten edged out.

Also think the numbers next year with the 9 conference games are gonna cause panic in the Big Ten and ACC

Can't belive some of those SEC teams getting those ratings with how bad they looked on the field. It's like ESPN/ABC is running a rigged beauty pageant where the ugly girl wins after they gaslight you she is all that.

Not really that surprising. My impression of the B1G is that fans of each team only watch their own team and watch nothing else whereas SEC fans tend to watch as many SEC games as they can in addition to their own.

It’s not so much a conference pride thing as it is that SEC fans just love college football that much more whereas the B1G fans aren’t nearly as fanatic about the sport beyond their own school.

Funny how those two B1G teams have won the last two National Championshis.

Well, they should have known there is absolutely nothing to do in Oklahoma besides OU football, watching tumbleweeds rolling through the dirt roads, paying tolls on interstates & dodging tornados. Damn right the ratings should be high!

We more than pull our weight considering that SEC Network doesn't have a single A&M grad working there, much less ESPN, that hypes us.

Also considering that there was no plan for an SEC Network until the Aggies joined the conference and enriched every team in the conference with a lot more TV money.

Something is wrong with their ratings. #4 and # 9 are not that popular. The poor bastards in the northeast don't have good options on their TVs to choose from.

Leave Nebraska alone.

We’re just minding our own business and haven’t bothered anybody for 20 years now.

But thanks for thinking of us I guess.
