Gonna be keeping my eye on Curry. See what he can do without all the bells and whistles all around him.

2. Kylin Hill (MSU)
3. Rakeem Boyd (Arky)
4. Jerrion Ealy (Ole Miss)
5. Larry Rountree (Mizzou)
6. Zamir White (UGA)
7. Isaiah Spiller (TA&M)
8. Eric Gray (TENN)
9. Asim Rose (Kentucky)
10. Chris Curry (LSU)

Definitely a down year for running backs. Not to mention that there’s usually a couple teams with multiple backs in the top 10.

Last year we had

Najee
CEH
Swift
Ke’shawn Vaughn
Kylin Hill
Boyd
Perine
Whitlow
Herrien

ETA: This is just a list, not a ranking. LSU fans are sooooooo insecure

Boyd doesn't usually get the respect he deserves due to the terrible team he has been on the past two years. Good to see him high on that list.

How are you so sure? Curry had 189 yards last year. TDP had 295. Neither had very good YPC with the best OL in the country.

So why do you expect them to be great now that they’ve lost 78% of their OL starts?

I can’t fricking believe that Alabama somehow convinced Najee to come back

Tyler Badie is actually our more explosive back. Drink will be moving him around quite a bit to get them both on the field at the same time... or at least that’s the rumor as none of us have any idea what’s actually happening.

He got a return to school grade. And he’s running behind a damn elite OL this fall. Four returning starters.

I think I'm looking forward to seeing Trey Sanders as much as I am Najee

List looks legit. Only issue I see is with Leach I think Hills production goes way down. Leach is normally in the bottom of Rushing Offense. Not Hill’s fault. Still a great back. Also thought White would be higher

His rushing yards will go down, but his all purpose yards are going to skyrocket. He's the perfect RB for Leach.

Yet both played behind CEH who had an amazing year. Curry played one game where he was the main back and he had a great game against Oklahoma! So, if the OP or someone wants to bookmark this and put out a new top 10... I have a feeling that LSU might have at least 2 on that list.

Hill will be a focal point of this offense catching passes out of the backfield.

Sorry for the ignorance, but feel free to educate me. Does Leach use RB out of the backfield a lot? And if so how is Hill’s pass catching and route running?
