We all know Fournette was the better back in 2015.

over hester.

unsurprisingly, people have forgotten that hester was never the feature back. he platooned with chuck scott and keiland williams yet, he still found a way to have a big impact in big games. oh and btw, he went on to be pretty decent in the league

but it is debateable that he's top 10 given that guice is not on the list. hard to keep chubb off that list too

honestly, i'm not sure if hester was better than jeremy hill, spencer ware, terrence magee, stevan ridley, etc, who are all playing in the league

Henry isn’t number 1. Yeah his numbers are astounding but he just didn’t have the “wow” factor many other big play backs had.
WHAT.

Yeah, i GUESS he has pretty good speed...for a big guy

Did anyone have more big plays and big play touchdowns than Henry did his junior year?

Um, yes. Every one of those guys blows out Hester in both college and the NFL

In 4 years at LSU Hester ran for 1780 yards and 20 TDs on 4.9 yards per carry

I can name 10 Alabama or Auburn RBs better than him since 2000.

Tre Mason deserves to be on here somewhere, though not sure exactly where. Dude ran a billion times it seemed.

C'mon with the Jacob Hester stuff. A good servicable back but not top 10. Dude had a career that these other backs had in seasons.

That guy could get 3 yards through a cinder block wall. Not flashy numbers, but as good of a third and short back as Tebow ever was.

Not to be picky, but I think you’re confusing Tre Mason with another RB that was actually good in the NFL. Not sure which one—but he was awful.

Anthony Dixon isn't on there, so list must be done over.

Now any list that does not include Anthony Dixon or Jerious Norwood in the top ten since 2000 is not valid.

Hell I'd rather have Josh Robinson than some of the guys on that list.

I thought Henry was Bama’s best back under Saban.

TRent was just a meathead on hGH with mediocre vision running through gaping holes.

Michel was a first round draft pick, which is what LSU fans run to when comparing Chubb and Fournette. When was Hester drafted?

Sony Michel- 3613, 6.1ypc, 33 rtd
JacobHester- 1780, 4.9ypc, 20 rtd

So in what way was Hester a better back?

Henry was on a much better team that could run the ball down people's throats. And I love the guy.

Fournette may well be the most talented pure running back on this list.

Gurley was the most capable all around the field, maybe Dmac.

Lattimore was the one I liked the most.

Fournette had the fastest foot speed in nfl recorded last year.

Henry not bad but Fournette leaves nfl DBs in the dust like nobody...
