Tubbs is wrong. It isnt Alabama, its other teams. There should be more teams that can compete but cfb is down due to a miriad of reasons. I do think this is one of Saban's best teams but even some of his best teams got beat and got tested.

The thing is, fans of every sport all say they want parity, that parity is more enjoyable, a better product, that a dominant team is bad for business, etc.

But if you think about it, it's not true. Fans love to pull for or against greatness. They are transfixed by it one way or another. Of course, there needs to be competition, somebody for the opposition to rally around, Lebron vs. The Warriors, etc., but I would argue there is competition. We are about to play Clemson for the 4th year in a row and I think they can give us a good game. We also have a rematch with Georgia that could get interesting. I don't know why people act like there is no competition here. There is!

If you think back to all the classic eras of any sport, you will almost always remember them by the great teams that defined them. This legendary run of Bama teams will be no different.

You're all just having a harder time with it because you're so close to it being in our conference, and you hate our team so much. But the idea that it's destroying the sport is simply not true. There are plenty of other things killing the sport much faster than the fact that Bama with Saban is just too damn good at this.

It's still fun.

Bama won't stop winning until Saban is gone.

We gotta deal with it.

And one day it will happen, and Bama will recede again, finally. And we will all look back at this era and be grateful the game wasn't manipulated by the suits in charge, and here's why.... it is the DREAM of any fan to have their team be a dynasty. One championship is great, but dominating for an era is LIGHT years more tasty. It's the thing we all want to experience as real "fans" of any team in any sport. -And SEEING it happen somewhere makes you enjoy the hope that you too can experience it.-

I will never be a spoiled brat about it after Saban does finally retire. I've seen it and tasted the forbidden fruit. It's real. And I can only hope you all get to experience it despite the fact it would come at my team's expense one day.

So, anyone that is a proponent of limiting this type of run, in my opinion, does not understand the spirit of the sport and what it takes to do this. Don't get me wrong, I don't mean to undermine the extreme exhaustion and frustration other fans have to feel from it.... but, as a fan of a game and a team... trust me, you want the sport to keep on being what it is.

Tubbs can piss off with his crying.

But I think OU and WVU could score on Bama and make things tough for our D. The bad thing for them is that their defenses are absolute garbage.

Wrong. Even after Saban leaves Bama will keep winning. Bama has dominated since the 1920s

You must have missed the early 2000s.

Like any other sports team or power that be, someone has got to rule the game/world. Why not the USA? and why not Bama? Wouldn't you rather Bama run the SEC instead of Georgia or LSU? On the national level, would you rather it be Notre Dame, Ohio State/Michigan or USC? Think about it.

Alabama went 39-10-1 from 1993 to 1996 with 3 Top 15 finishes and 1 Top 5 finish.

The dark decade is officially 1997 to 2006.

Alabama took Tommy Tuberville out of football.
He still has a winning record over Saban. They played enough when Saban had to follow the rules.

We ran his arse out of major college football with a 36 point pantsing.

LOL tell us more about how bad Alabama will look when we play a real defense Rabern! Maybe we'll only win by 21!

All it is going to do is cause everyone to cheat like Bama and scheduling weak schedules.
