Didn’t see this one coming. I don’t know how broadcasting budgets work, but I’m curious if the new fat SEC contract forced their hand a bit in contract negotiations with Rinaldi.

Big hit to ESPN. Fox sports commentary is a lot more quality than ESPN but ESPN is a lot more accessible. Won’t be the case if this stuff keeps up.

Praise the lord. More than anything his human interest features made me hate what Gameday has become. I will refrain from getting excited and watching it again cause ESPN is run by retards and will make sure they put out shitty content even when he is gone.

"Human interest features" : With ABC & its puppet owning all the rights, after next yr as it now stands, expect a lot more garbage during air time.

Dumbasses don't realize they are grossly overpaid and there are no similar jobs that are sustainable.

And along with Ivan Maisel, ESPN have now lost their two best remaining journalists. They’ve bottomed out.

After Bill Simmons and Cowherd left ,ESPN was left with mostly bleeding heart liberal camel jockeys and ex thugs ... He was one of the last remaining good journalists ..i could see scheffter leaving next

Maybe he can do a tear jerker story about himself being fired by ESPN.

Look, that Longhorn Network contract ain't gonna pay for itself. Rinaldi will not be the last.

The NFL will hire him to do the 2.5 minute sob story on every player drafted in this Spring between teams announcing picks.
