8-4
He's just not a good coach.
He's just not a good coach.

He's a good coach and I have faith in him for now.
getting badly blown out in the CFP got him the Bama job, i dont see where getting beat worse by a far less talented team is a positive trend

10-2 is about where Bama should be in 2026. But, we'll see.

0-12. You happy, now?

Wommack. And of course DeBoer himself.
I am convinced Wommack was a bad hire, it’s clear that the Bama D has regressed under his leadership.

I think all coaches are now in uncharted territory due to the new era of the game. Certainly the last three Auburn HC's have shown this.

You mean Indiana? They looked pretty talented to me.

DeBoer's got a lot of stuff to figure out, but he eventually will.

Ah. He could improve. He did improve over the season. I don't think he gets fired -- still way too premature -- but before he can get hired at a better program, he'll have to improve a little more I think.

Since DeBoer's been there? There's only one Saban. Even Kirby is having a challenging time navigating this era.
Outside of Kirby and Cignetti, there's not a comparable coach to Saban right now.
DeBoer has beaten Kirby twice and has gotten Bama as far into the playoffs this year as Georgia got.
Not where we want to be but still an improvement over last season.

I think AL loses 3 or 4 regular season games.
The fear of AL is gone now.
There's been a few games the last 2 years that teams lost against AL because they are AL.

They melt even over wins and melt about refs when their team is not even playing. It's the damndest thing I've ever seen

what's the best running game that Grubb has ever coached as OC? I think that will answer a lot.

and he has exactly 2 years more being an HC in the new era than AU’s current HC, a slight advantage but not a massive one

it will be interesting to compare the two teams’ relative performances in the next draft

Probably 10-2 no worse than 9-3
They get to avoid Texas & Oklahoma and the schedule lines up well. The 3 road games of note are LSU, Tenn, & Vandy. Pavia has to be out of eligibility, Tenn seems mid, and LSU will likely still be a year away with all the Kiffin histrionics. Georgia and A&M at home are the biggest threats.
Just depends on how many DeBoer head scratchers they have.
