Big Game Brent had to disassemble the sign stealing division after the UM Scandal.

Season 3 should tell a lot about him and his tenure.

Coaches today will not get long. Teams in the SEC anyway can’t afford to fall to far behind. Plus having the portal now has kind of cut down the build times college programs. A coach used to get 3,4,5 years but now the portal can cut that by half so no more long rebuilding periods for coaches in college or long grace periods.

The SEC transition would have bought him another year no matter what, but if BlowU struggles next season (spoiler alert: they will) Brokelahoma will certainly start raiding couch cushions and underneath car seats for buyout money.

I am not impressed. And Sooner Nation should not be satisfied with 10-3, no matter the conference. Fire BV.

I hate Oklahoma, but he’s only on year 2. 10 win season on year 2 is not reason for concern.

That being said he will lose more games next year with an entire offensive line change, that new QB who just threw 4 picks and a new OC. Give him 1 more year until he’s on the chopping block.

But I remember how excited ya'll were when Skeletor was hired? "No more pansy arse offensive minded corches!" "Never again going to lose a RRS game!" Lolz

Really think it will take 5?

I see 4 losses, maybe 5 on their schedule if the barn gets decent QB play.

I think he'll be around for a while due to the talent he'll have every year. Their NIL collective is one of the best in the country. They had a losing record last year but had a top-tier class and they have a solid class this year.

He should get a lot longer leash than Napier whose only achievement is convincing the UF admin that a rebuild takes as long today as it did 20 years ago.
