I’m sorry reality disagrees with you.
No one associates Arkansas with the blues. Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, Howlin Wolf, BB King ALL from Mississippi. All known as the greatest blues musicians of all time.

I can’t believe I even have to make this argument. I didn’t know people could be this fricking stupid.

“I’m going down to Rosedale take my rider by my side” -Eric Clapton

Guess where rosedale is located… hint: not in Arkansas

Athen’s music history scene speaks for itself. As does Macon’s. For 2 small towns to have produced so many world famous singers and groups is amazing. Macon’s Capricorn studio was famous for discovering talent.
I’m from Atlanta and I love the place but it doesn’t come close to Athens and Macon when it comes to music.

Little Richard from Macon Ga was the “architect of rock and roll”. Not Chuck Berry

you're still embarrassing yourself - I'm guessing you'll go back and start deleting things you've already posted

when you accuse me of being stupid, it's ad hominem, but when I accuse you of being stupid, I'm simply correctly addressing the short printed history of your posts in this thread

REM was and is world famous. I love their music as do millions all over the world. It was a sad day when they decided to retire

7. Macon, GA - the birthplace of southern rock? I want this to be #1, but it's been so long since the Allman Bros and Marshall Tucker, my heroes as a small child.

No No No.

The birthplace of southern rock is Jacksonville FL. Where the Allman brothers actually formed along with

Sheryl Crow owns Mizzou. Alpha Chi Omega iirc. You think we’re proud of Sam Walton or the thousand other business leaders or national news anchors? Nope, just Sheryl. Even Brad Pitt can go pound sand.

The Allman Brothers were born in Nashville, where they formed their love for music and where they learned to play. Also, they got their first gig as a house band at a bar in Nashville called the Briar Patch. Also, their first recordings were done in Nashville.
