I wish we would have let LSU pay Fisher a billion dollars like they wanted to and promoted Mike Elko to head coach.
Elko is HC at Duke now and they’re 4-1 with the only loss to 5-0 Kansas on the road. They currently have the 35th ranked recruiting class when they’re normally 60th or below.

I wanted Gus Malzahn instead of Butch Jones...glad we didn't get Malzahn...but wish we would have gotten somebody other than the 5th chair trumpet player.

During the whole Tom Herman/Ed O cycle I was really hoping lsu would pull Dan Mullen out of Mississippi state and when he was hired at Florida I really thought he was going to kill it there

and as a kid watching I hated it! In retrospect, we’d MIGHT have been better off if he had jumped, because we’d likely have gotten Erk as the head man…
