My buddy had a kidney transplant in June 2021. He stayed in the hospital for a bit. And had about 6 months recovery at home before returning to work. He hit the ground wide open when he returned. (We did a 3 week shutdown running 8” & 10” Carbon Steel Pipe). 12 hour days didn’t seem to slow him down at all. He couldn’t eat tomatoes and a few other foods for a while with his initial anti rejection drugs.
Fast forward till now , he is able to take an injection he gives himself at home instead of getting an infusion bi-monthly. He basically lives life exactly as he did before other than monthly lab work, injections and several medications on the no no list.

16 degrees in Mansfield, Ga. Only about 1/2” or so accumulation of snow. My road is a sheet of ice.

For context I went through a period of time in my late teens early twenties where I went through an ounce of blow a week, a hand full of Vicodin and a case of beer a day and dropping all of that was easier than getting off of Copenhagen. I quit the Friday before Labor Day 2014 and it was by far the biggest struggle I’ve ever went through. For Some stupid reason I took another pinch 3 years to the day after quitting and don’t know if I ever will stop again.

The Burger is my go to at Fox Bros. I’ve never had a burger that good. If you don’t mind dropping forty plus dollars, their beef ribs are second to none.
