The 98 one because that game was the reason for the ones before it. That game was for a spot in the first BCS title. The game that established what a college football championship was supposed to be.

Makes me realize how old I’m getting. I remember that Antonio Langham interception well.

The Bowl Coalition (1992-1994) predated the Bowl Championship Series in its attempts to establish a legitimate national championship game. It failed (along with its successor the Bowl Alliance) because the Rose Bowl refused to participate. Nevertheless, that first year saw #1 Miami play #2 Alabama in the Sugar Bowl for the national title.

The first will always be my favorite. Besides the "Blizzard Bowl" in Shreveport, that was the coldest game I ever attended. But - the Florida dance line girls were hot enough to offset the cold temps! The ebb and flows of the game were incredible, and to have it end on Langham's pick six sent the entire stadium into overdrive. To cap the season off with a total demolition of Miami a couple of weeks later in New Orleans was just the perfect ending to a perfect season.

We are on that list!!! Wooooo. I was there. I got drunk. Not getting beat by Maine drunk. More like losing 3-2 drunk. Damn... there's a pattern here for State fans.

Not a troll post, but I really am surprised at how few Championship games UGA has won. For a while the Gators were running away with things.

5-1 is pretty clutch on LSU's part. I completely forgot about the '05 UGa loss. I remember that '01 game over the Vols probably more than any non-Bama involved game.

LSU 31 Tennessee 20. We weren’t supposed to win that one. Also, 2019 LSU 37 - 10. Joe Burrow solidified himself as the goat.

2003 beat down of the Dawgs. Georgia fans were chirping before the game how the dawgs owed LSU a whipping after the epic regular season game. I was sitting in Section 225 surrounded by drunk Bulldog fans. It was a glorious ride on MARTA back to the North Springs station after the game.

1992: ALA-28 FLA-21 <- A classic forever

1999: ALA-34 FLA-7 <- Beating Spurrier 2x in a season

2003: LSU-34 UGA-13 <- Dawgs got shocked

2005: UGA-34 LSU-14 <- Shut up LSU

2008: FLA-31 ALA-20 <- Tim Tebow what more can you say?

2009: ALA-32 FLA-13 <- Tebow cried. Bama played a perfect game.

2012: ALA-32 UGA-28 <- Watched it with Georgia fans at Taco Mac in Douglasville, GA. Was a mad house. 2 Georgia fans got arrested after threatening Bama fans after the win.

2017: UGA-28 AUB-7 <- Gus got paid, then got beat and beat again by the one-armed bandit.

2018: ALA-35 UGA-28 <- Gotta be my favorite because of Jalen Hurts coming in and taking over and making it look easy as hell.

2020: ALA-52 FLA-46 <- The Meche hit is what I'll always remember about this game. Trask was lights out. If Florida would have had a defense, who knows how last season could have turned out?

Be hard to top the 2018 game. '97 was a good one with Manning.

The first game is hard to beat as the most epic, and probably did as much to strengthen the SEC as any of them. Not a big fan as a Gator though.

The ending really, really sucked for me, but I would imagine that this was the best one to watch for neutral fans. This is one of the best college football games I have ever seen, period.
