I think our best chance will be next season and the one after. There are no guarantees of course, you still have to win the games. Time will tell

From what I have seen...most do. At least on our board. I mean, we all hope we can win the SECCG, but very few if any expect us to win it. We do tend to expect a NY6 Bowl game, though.
ETA
Just looked. We had 13 predict 2 losses in the regular season, so I don't think it would be too much of a stretch that most of the ones that predict one loss would expect to lose the SECCG.

I’m not quite sure exactly what kind of team we’ll have this year, but I do know that we’ll be well coached and loaded with top-rated talent. Our offensive line is one of, if not the best, we’ve ever had. We have a stable of star studded RBs, two QBs that could play for anybody. And a receivers corps that is crazy talented, including TEs and Wides.
It remains to be seen how good our D will be. But we have many young, big names back there.
We’re going to score a lot of points this season. It remains to be seen how many we’ll give up.

(Cant believe I am f*cking saying this) but I agree with Dawgslife. Georgia did an excellent job representing the SEC last year in the CFP.I thought the Georgia vs Oklahoma game was the game of the year. Also I agree we all don't have to be trolls 24/7

shite like this is so dumb. Sure you can print out our 85 man roster and say it's the "most talented" but that doesn't really apply to real life. Probably half of the 5* (or more) on the team are underclassmen. I mean we signed what like 6 last cycle? Just because they are on our roster doesn't mean we are expecting all the true freshmen to lead us to a title. And I would hardly say they were "wasted" if we don't win it all.
2019/20 and onward is when that talent combined with further top 3 classes should come to roost.

No. UGA almost won it all. And they are ridiculously loaded with talent. 5 stars stepping over 5 stars and more and more coming. Their OL should look better on the hoof than an NFL team. And they are sitting on the best QB/WR/RB combo in CFB. They can sleep walk to the SEC champ game and then clean up on others who had some work to do to get there. I see UGA and Clemson in the final.

All we needed was one guy to win it. You guys need to stop being little girls. Each team can only field 11 guys at a time. Step up and be alpha..... Too much beta on the UGA fan base. A few years ago, it was, Kirby can get us there in a few years. Well, here we are. No way you should not win it this year. That schedule is like paper

Huh? They lost a ton of experience from last year. If I had to guess, I'd say they will be counting heavily on a lot of young guys this year. Younger than last year i would say. Could be wrong.
Either way, they are set up nicely for the next few years. We will see.
