Lastly for the all hype about Auburn having to play in Athens, the last game UGA had no offensive TDs and were a couple plays away from losing to a Sean White lead team at QB for Auburn... Is Athens really that tough of place to play?

Do you have any idea just how bad that Georgia team actually was?

It's been 12 years since Auburn beat Georgia at Georgia. It's been pretty tough for Auburn to win at Sanford. Doesn't mean you won't win this year, but don't pretend it doesn't present Auburn with an obstacle.

When they played the west last year they went 2-2 and 1-1 in the regular season.

To be fair, we played AU twice, Bama once, and crushed MSU. Those were the 3 best teams in the West....by a mile. AU handed us our arse in JH. Bama was very, very fortunate. The calls, bad calls, and non-calls all went their way. Biggest issue was losing Wimms early. He was Fromm's security blanket.

love this! Not only is this year's championship in the bag, but you guys are already thinking dynasty!

Did you not read? At all? he just said Alabama had the talent advantage this year. And you think that means this years championship is "in the bag"?

Reading is Fundamental.

Agree to disagree.

Lock hit two passes (both to Hall) for 126 yards and 2 TDs.

Outside of that, he was 6 for 11 for 38 yards with 1 TD and 1 INT (.54 completion and 6.33 ypc). That other TD was a 4 yard throw. But the Missouri offense started at the 5 yard line after a turnover by Fromm.

Lock had 2 great 63 yard passes. The rest of the game was very pedestrian at best.

Auburn wasn't any better than UGA that year, also played without their best player. Auburn brings their best team to Athens in the last 12 too. Auburn hasn't been too good in even years....

Nah, I think it's more 2019. We certainly have the talent and depth to win a title this year. I think the youngsters need a year of seasoning. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Ah...went back and looked at the stats. You are correct. He finished the game 15 or 25 passing (60%) 4TDs and 1 INT. I thought his passing yards were higher and forget about the two long passes to Hall.

Okay. You were good enough to be ranked #9 and we weren't, soooo... and we won at home. We have also won the last 5 in a row we have played at home against Auburn. but that doesn't present a problem in your mind?

Look. I realize that your QB had an arm thta was ready to fall off. I get it. but that isn't the only year we beat Auburn at home. It's just the only year you brought up.

Fine. This will be Georgia's best team (outside of last year) in many, many years.

That's strange isn't it? Like us beating Auburn so much and Florida beating us so much. Trends like that just don't really make sense.

If you go by rivals, UGA has picked up 13 five stars in the last three classes. I have no clue where he is getting his information from.

We almost lost to vandy the week before we played UGA, 2016 auburn was not that good. We literally rode the back of Kam Pettway all season, he didn't play vs UGA...

My numbers were first half only.

But lock only had 1 good drive in the second half. And they were behind (meaning that he should have been flinging it around the field).

Put it this way. The punter for Missouri had more yards than Lock and Lock hit those two passes for 126 yards.

What is this sh*t? You can't take a players best plays away and act like he sucks, that is beyond retarded.

UGA had the target on our back last season in the East.

I'd say we did well.

UF had won 2 straight Easts titles, the target was on their back.

I didn't.

I said that if Missouri is going to rely on 1 play call and 1 receiver, then I like UGA's chances outscoring Missouri.

Cobra commander said that lock was flinging it around on the UGA defense in the first half.

I was pointing out the 3 and outs, INT, and ineffectiveness.

Lock hit 2 bombs and benefited from a UGA turnover at the 5. But his success in that game came from 1 receiver and a go route.

I think Mizzou only had like 112 or 120 yards total offense in the second half.

The punter had 6 punts for 261 yards.

Lol.

Only Straws would agree with you.
He expected UF to run the table after their Vanderbilt game.

Georgia is like Auburn in that when you're favoured you always find a way to under perform.

In a way he is right. We had our best season in a long time last year and we were predicted to go 8-4 or 9-3
