Alabama nothing. Ohio St plays Michigan every year. If Ohio St doesn’t win soon then people will have to stop calling it a rivalry game.

Wait...I was told by I believe you that this was less important in the modern era. I disagreed. As a Georgia fan, I would celebrate the Natty, but I would never feel a season to be a complete success unless we beat Florida and Tech. Unless you feel that way, it ain't the greatest rivalry.

the greatest rivalry in college football

That's a laugh.

There are a handful of rivalries between various SEC teams greater than that one among them a game played the second weekend in October on the Texas State Fairgrounds.

Take your osu shite somewhere else.

The greatest rivalry is Wisconsin-Minnesota or Washington-Oregon. Not because the football teams are all that great but because of the anger involved

It’s a great rivalry.

Greatest in college football?

I’m sure Ohio State and Michigan grads feel so. Also various media figures over the years who graduated from Big Ten schools certainly seem to feel that way.

But there’s a big old “rest of the country” out there who probably don’t necessarily set everything aside for Ohio State-Michigan.

It’s a streaky rivalry largely marked by one side or the other dominating for a period of several years.

It’s the “greatest rivalry” yet Ohio State fans have to come to an SEC message board every year and try to sell to us that it’s the “greatest rivalry.”
