Oh, we've been round and round about Miles to Meeesheegan over the years.

Nah, they are in all their glory up there these days with Harbaugh ... and I am wishing them well because I actually like Michigan. It's OSU I really don't care for but he couldn't resist getting a jab in at me this morning given the overlap with the design team and evidently there was some crack made about a pool on this new project we're working-on. This thing is going to be unreal.

ETA: Retirement home for former players, eleven football fields, shopping mall, designer swimming pools, a new HoF .... all completely new stuff from the ground-up. Everything else is getting leveled.

AU just opened something similar last year. Colleges are becoming "Club Med".

This is the rant dude. Reasonable, well thought out opinions are frowned upon here.

My bad.

I did not mean to imply that Michigan was building a new facility of any kind ... I was referring to the new NFL Hall of Fame project. It's unreal. It'll be the most incredible complex of its kind once completed and they are keeping it in Canton - just starting from scratch after having acquired all the surrounding properties.

This thing is going to be Roger Goodell's legacy project for the NFL. I've never seen any plans like it before.

I know, but I still try anyway. Sometimes it brings out a Vandy poster or two.

You have a good one Mr. Bed!

That pooldeck is going to be unbearable. It is like they found a way to maximize the amount of concrete (even made some of it inaccessible to lounge chairs). That is going to be a pizza stone for those students in the BR heat.

We already had that under Chavis. We called it the 4th quarter

Pic 12 makes it look like the segregated pool is on the far side.

Seriously man, horrible pool design isn't just an LSU problem, it is just an LSU problem in this particular thread.

Exactly what I was thinking. Swimmers will roast on that concrete - the water temp will be ready to boil crawfish.

Im sure the pool deck and water will be the same temperature as any deck/water in baton rouge.

Man you guys really are grasping at straws. It's ok when other schools build something awesome. You don't have to be intimidated by it.

Intimidated by LSU? Nah

That pool deck is going to be scorching - but I'm sure the summer school students will enjoy the facility.

Are they going to allow beer/alcohol? I guess if I was a student spending the summer on campus, I wouldn't mind floating down the lazy river with a cold beer in hand.
