Run into a team with good guards that can defend, and all of sudden all those threes they jack up become terrible shots

Are you watching this game? It has been lack of finishing at the rim that has killed Bama so far.

You can hardly judge a team when they're playing UK in Rupp.

Bama is actually 4-7 from behind the arc.

His kryptonite is someone who doesn’t give up a long rebound on +50% of Bama’s 3 point misses.

They have been trying to get to the rim since the first possession. They are 4-7 from 3, which is 57%. They are having more trouble getting layups to fall than 3 pointers. Maybe they should shoot a few more triples.

ETA: I posted my reply before reading through the thread. Looks like every is in agreement that WaydownSouth may not have much future as a basketball analyst.

Also, it is hard to win when your opponent is shooting nearly 70% from the field at half.

Because they haven't been able to get many off.

His teams don't defend at all.

Our defense under the basket has been atrocious too. Alabama has had their opportunities down low for sure.

Bama is shooting just fine...its the turnovers and Kentucky just playing much better that has been the difference

That crowd would have lost its mind if that Sheppard heave had dropped.

Lol, are you watching the game? Giving up 60 in the first half is what's killing them.

Which one is it?

They are losing because all of their threes aren't dropping or because they haven't been able to get a three off.

Or you're just a dumbass who don't know wtf you are talking about? Yes I think this is the right answer. You're just a dumbass

They aren't even shooting threes. But I agree athletic teams that make us not shoot threes beat us.

Alabama struggles finishing at the rim

Kentucky shooting 65% at home? Name the team that beats them.

It doesn’t help that Kentucky is hitting 65% of their shots from the field. Hell, even that out ot bounds heave to end the half almost went in.
