Congrats that’s just Nate Oats from 3 years ago

uh, No!

Oats was 15-14, and took over a program with 8 or 9 guys returning.

Bucky had 1 player who almost never played and still doesnt. He built a team from scratch after the rest of the country had a month head start on the portal.

No similarity other than they were new coaches stepping up in level.

oh, and we'd never let our coach do an end-run on an accomplice to murder necause he was a star. please. don't even memtion your guy in the same breath.

We were very fortunate to beat A&M but I came out of that game not very impressed with A&M. We played terrible. You’ve benefited from a pretty easy SEC schedule.

It’s better to benefit from an easy schedule than to no benefit from it. Let’s see how the second half of the season goes. It starts getting real for us next Saturday.

So true - football and now basketball.

Came here thinking the SEC was THE league, turns out, most your teams are arse.

Right.....

Cause LSU has such a rich and storied program.

In the 14 years A&M has been in the league, LSU has done shite on the hard wood on the men's side.

Celebrating not even halfway through the season when you're in first place by only one game ahead of Kentucky has historically not worked out for the rest of this conference. I know y'all are new, but you're just setting yourself up for heartbreak my friend.

This right here is the part they will never understand. You still haven’t done a GD thing yet. They are so desperate for something to hang their hat on they latch on to anything in the wind and to fly with it.

I'd tap the brakes. Pope's seat was as hot as it gets only a few weeks ago.

You mean like hiring Lane and winning the transfer portal Natty?

I know the schedule gets more challenging. But A&M was picked to finish 13th.

They could miss the NCAA tournament and still exceed expectations.

You all have wins in the bank which is great this time of year. Your gaunlet is coming in next 5 games with 4 ranked SEC teams and 3 on the road. You get through that still in 1-2 you are in good shape. I expect a lot of movement in the standings in next 3 weeks.

I always have to wonder as well, do these "easy" schedules account for the mathematical reality that the team with the easy schedule also dished out a ton of L's on that schedule? I think some do, but if it's just an 'overall' W-L then it probably does not.

all true. Ags are excited, surprised, and happy about our BBall now as we should be, but "celebrating" is not the right word.

We know the next 5 games are going to be really tough to win, and if we go 2-3 that would be amazing.

@Georgia
@Bama
Florida
Mizzou
@Vandy

our last 6 are kind of 50/50 games, so a pretty good chance we'll end up in the upper half of conference and enough to make the dance.

He’s very good but things will change,more game film better game plans by opponents,and reality will hit pretty soon.I do think he will be a good coach long term.

Tired of this bs being used against ANY SEC team. Birmingham sets the schedules each team plays. If a team is playing their schedule and handing out L's they deserve credit for taking care of business.
