That somehow the biggest redneck dressed in overalls only, with a goofy arse sign or the toilet paper/Tide box creation is always the one the TV cameras zoom in on and and go back to periodically throughout the game.
There is plenty of eye candy and talent in the student section if nowhere else, to show instead of Billy Ray from Samson, AL in all his trailer trash glory.

25% of the Uk basketball fanbase will always be pissed off no matter the result. Either too many one and dones or not enough 5 stars. Or Cal sucks when we lose and when we win it’s because of the players. The list goes on and on

Our fans who don't care about the rivalry with A&M. That gane meant a lot to this state and yes Aggies...we are rivals.
Maybe I care because I am old enough to have seen 30 years of those games and still miss it every Thanksgiving. Glad we are finally going ro revive it.

Most of our student section leaves game at halftime to go to Grove or the Square.

Our unwillingness to support all sports. Most of our fans only care in the fall. Hell half didn't know the run we had in the CWS.

Honestly lsu fans are dumb as shite, though that is probably the case for every fan base minus Vanderbilt
I moved away from Louisiana in 2018, and while it’s not just lsu fans, i want to yack hearing everyone turn everything into politics when I come home. Obviously the message board warriors are noticeably worse but I’ve been shocked at how quickly sports talk goes downhill to some bizarre racial comment or political remark

Our fans are either:
1. Defeatists who bemoan the program
2. Milquetoast sunshine pumpers who sit on their hands
The game day atmosphere is nonexistent and lacks any sort of rabid fandom.

Fans that prioritize winning in sports over the school itself including the traditions. If we change everything that makes A&M unique just to win in sports, does it really even matter at that point? I have no issues with spending billions provided we retain that uniqueness. I don’t want A&M to be Generic American land grant university number 43.

I was thinking how obnoxious some of our BB only fans could be and how they couldn't give a frick less about how terrible the football team was for so long.

That is a shame because Oklahoma is fairly solid across the board if memory serves me correctly.

Yes, OU fans are horrible front runners. The fact that OU didn't beat Ole Miss will have the typical OU fan shrugging and continuing with their indifference toward the baseball team.
My other pet peave about OU fan is that they take football too seriously. Going to the stadium is like going to church. Way too many game "experts" commenting during the game and griping at other fans for venting.
OTOH OU students don't take it seriously enough. Most commuter students (OU is a bigger commuter school than people might think) don't buy tickets. The on campus students come to the games but don't stay.
I'm hoping having SEC teams in Norman will help with our sucky crowd situation. OU fans only really hate one team and that team never plays in Norman. Oklahoma State doesn't even move the needle that much because they don't beat us enough.
