No more AT&T Red River Showdown.......it will now be the............

ALLSTATE RED RIVER RIVALRY!!

They're changing sponsors and, thus, the name of the game is changing. It's always a classic game to watch!

That’s what it was called before. When we left the Big 12 it was still 3 R’s I believe. The RRR.

It will always be this.

Ever since they changed it from that (2005 was the first year I think?), they've switched names something like 7 or 8 times

More like the “Tampon Red River Runout.”

I’ve never really watched it and can’t not think of a “classic” game from the rivalry. I’m hoping ESPN moves them to a Primetime kickoff.

11 am and I hope so. Nothing beats a fletcher's corny dog and a beer in a wax cup at 8:30 a.m.

Also, Fair Park in Dallas is not a place you want to be around when the sun goes down.

I don’t think this game will ever be played at night. Always either 11 am or 2:30.

Simple reasoning, if we’re completely honest, the fairgrounds and therefore the Cotton Bowl are not exactly in the safest part of town.

From 2000-09, one team from that rivalry participated in the national title game 6 times in 10 years.

There's been plenty of classic, one-possession games since '09, too.

If you ever get a chance, you should catch a game in person. It's a good time.

OU Texas, Red River Shootout, Red River Rivalry, either of these names are acceptable.

Yeah, I think that would be a bucket list item.

What is the rivalry like? Do Texas and Oklahoma hate each other?
