You really aren’t though. With UGA, LSU, Ole Miss, UTk, and maybe Bama, at least two of those teams will be taking a shite on Texas every year.

I know Baton Rouge is a shite-hole for the most part, but I’d rather take my chances getting shot walking down the street there than being ambushed by PETA protestors in Au(tism)stin. Went there for the LSU game in 2019 and will never go back except to watch them lose again.

On the flip side, they (Texas) already represent a real rivalry or let's say "villain" to everyone in the conference.
I see that as a "good" thing. Creates fan interest.
