Agree when a player does error repeatedly, they should be removed. Assuming the backups have earned sufficient trust. You agree that's a coach's responsibility. ...

ME TOO! But he did remove 70 players from the first-year roster for not play well enough. In my post, I never denied coaches are ultimately responsible. I simply said, players makes mistakes too. Saban went nuts on a kid because he knew the kid was coached up and blew it. ...

It's a good point that if a player (s) are performing as expected, and 1 WR is fumbling, we can be pretty sure it wasn't coaching. Like when an OT isn't performing but another one is. It ain't BB. Reading on other OU social media, there appears to be some that think OU playing zone at times is just bad.
I ask why? We, like most other teams try to be multiple. Besides, Micgigan just won the natty and they use a lot of zone. Some OU fans need to pay closer attention.

Yeah I can agree with that the New ST coach may solve whatever coaching errors there were, but a new coach in just a few months may not have had the time to improve the talent.
As I said for years on TFB, unless the back up has not given coaches confidence and earned time, it would be difficult ...

Of course. I am just pointing to having a balanced opinion. The coaching blame has to be examined on a case by case basis. You don't a priori deduce from player error back to must have been coaching. You take it as I intimated, on a case-by-case basis. Too many OU fans, see a mistake run to the Oh, ...

Guys, coaches have their duties, but we need to make sure players are making plays. Coaches can only do so much, then the player has to take what he's been taught and execute and win battles.
So, instead of jumping on a pos coach or BV, let's determine if a player actually did their job first. J...

Lebby caused a loss last year and although we finished third in offense, his calls could have been more consistent.
Upgraded with Seth Littrell IMO. Roof was not the DC.
