This is a fairly sad and transparent attempt to get ahead of the fact that Georgia could very well finish the season at 15-0 next week, thereby making the LSU 2019 season no longer unique and demonstrating that 15-0 seasons might not actually be all that unusual in the playoff era going forward.

If I was an LSU fan, it would be really sad to me to have had a pretty decent team, then turn into crap the next season and been mediocre at best ever since.
That team was pretty good, but let's face it, Burrows made the team and taking nothing away from him, he was good. Hershel Walker carried us back in the 80s and good teams have good players. I can admit that without HW we would not have won the NC, anymore that UF would have won one without Tebow or Auburn without Cam Newton. But the UGA teams of this season and last season are more complete teams. We really don't have one super-duper player that carries the whole team. Our D last year is light years ahead of that LSU team or just about any team for that matter. So, top to bottom....no way you can say that LSU team was better than UGA or some of the Bama teams, as much as it pains me to say that.
