I fricking hate SEC officials.

The "end result" was correct, but once you blow the fricking whistle, the play is over and you go on after that. You don't make up bullshite to cover your frickup.

And the SEC office will come out and say they made the right call. What a fricking disgrace of officials we have.

Not just a whistle but a ref running to the spot waiving his hands over his head and marking the exact spot where the knee supposedly went down.

It's the right result since the guy didn't come close to touching the ground and he had a convoy of blockers but according to the rules that play CLEARLY should have been stopped.

Sad - SEC refs just wanted to get UT bowl eligible and get the hell out of there. Vandy has been screwed all year.

Vandy could have been bowl eligible too. Refs in the SEC just suck. Plain and simple. No conspiracies. We need full time guys. Not some old men who do this in their spare time.

Exactly! The refs just straight up lied and said during his 1st explination that the play will be reviewed because no whistle was blown or no ref spotted the ball, and he was wrong on both of those. Holy shite the SEC refs are the worst in the Country. Franklin had every reason to be IRATE!

The refs suck. There was no reason for a whistle to be blown in that situation.

Either way it was going to be a frick up.. so I'm glad we are on the winning side for once.

When the whistle blew the play was dead. How in the hell could the right call have been made? UT should have gotten the ball on the 25 for their OT possession.

Yeah, there was. The result ended up being the correct one, but the refs had to go outside "the rules" to make it happen.

This is like the time the officials reviewed the replay on the jumbotron and correctly awarded a fumbled ball to LSU (against Bama)...this is back before we had a replay booth.

No it wasn't, damn the whistle stops the play. The SJ marked the play dead. The review was worthless because they failed to recognize a whistle. You can't review audio I know, but the SJ just cost VU by not stating he blew whistle and replay showed he marked the spot and called for play stop.

Are you really this mad over 2 5-5 teams. The refs fricked up either way just let it go.

There shouldn't have been, but there WAS a whistle. Tennessee did NOT score, since the play was legally dead. Franklin needs to kick some SEC officials lying arse.
