Somebody will throw for more yards and TDs for sure but it’s going to be long time before we see those similar numbers with a higher completion %. And even longer before someone puts all of those numbers together AND beats the same amount of top 15 teams, goes undefeated, etc.

The OP’s claim is overcooked, but I do think this is true. It will be a decade or more before someone approaches his completion percentage. That accuracy, especially with deep balls, really set him apart.

I doubt joe is ever a mvp or makes a super bowl, but we shall see

You mean chokes away a Super Bowl because he’s soft as baby shite? Yeah, Joe definitely won’t do that.

Lol... Unbiased????

Your an LSU fan!

You just took the best qualities from 4 NFL legends and said he had all of those. It’s 50/50 and pick em if he lasts his rookie contract in today’s league. Much less become them!

And I say this as unbiased as one could be. With the accuracy of Brees, toughness of Favre, mobility of Rodgers, and the winner mentality of Brady, I think it will be a long long time before we see another Joe. The NFL team that gets him will be very lucky and will win lots of games and probably Super Bowls.

Probably?

You nor anyone else have no clue how the fvck this guy's career in the NFL is gonna go, too many can't-miss prospects have missed horribly for a myriad of reasons

Farve & Brees were 2nd round picks coming out of College, and Rodgers went in the bottom 1/3 of the first round, while Brady was an awkward 6th round pick, what you're doing is taking their NFL Careers and "backwards projecting" that and magically remaking them into something that they weren't when they came out of College to try and prop up Burrow even more

Just stop already!

How about find some great College QBs to compare him to ,then when he actually does something in the NFL, then compare him to NFL guys

Worry about Oklahoma first before you annoint him

To quote Bill Parcells, "hold off on the annointing oils, will ya"

Joe burrow is a good qb, nobody can contest this statement. But to say we’ve seen the best that this level of the sport has to offer is completely absurd. And you should be mocked relentlessly for saying it.

I think the NFL will eventually rename the Super Bowl to the Burrow Bowl.

The fact that you actually believe this to be true is pure insanity

Obviously Joe is the best college QB ever as of right now but there's no way to know what will happen in the future

I think they run the table, but Some of this LSU Crew is setting themselves up. Can you imagine the total meltdown if they lose a game now?

There may never be another game managing coach as good as Les Miles.

There may never be another college town as pretty as Baton Rouge.

This unbiased list could go on forever.

At some point you probably won’t be able to rush the qb, future QBs will be able to sit there all day and pick apart defenses. Joe’s records will be broken.

Just enjoy the season and Joe for the player he is without being so hyperbolic.

There will be as good of QB as Burrow next season. In the BIG XII.

Maybe, but Burrow will likely finish top 6 all-time in single season yards, TDs, completion % and passer rating. No one has ever been top 10 in all 4 categories.

If he adds 15-0 national champion to that resume, we may not even see a BIG12 QB surpass that next year

It would be cool to see him resurrect a franchise like the Dolphins.

Phins have a treasure trove of draft picks this year and a WR in Parker finally realizing his potential...

Gonna suck watching him languish in that garbage fricking franchise in Cincy.
