I'm simply saying no team in bama history beats this one. That doesn't mean '11 LSU or '11 OU couldn't. These guys are so big and so fast now for college it's unreal

Here's the deal. LSU ain't even gonna come close. Everybody whips Kentucky. However, Alabama has been dismantling quality teams.
LSU will not run against us, and their passing game will not be as good as Arky's or Florida's. We will move the ball consistently against them, and their undisciplined play will kill them against us. We're just going to kill LSU.

I know the OP is a bit excitable, but I agree that this is best team, going back 30 years.
I made the exact same post preseason. Bama has more talent with experience and depth than they have had in thirty years. If they lose two or three games it will not change my mind.

Some years The Bear had some second teams that would have beat the rest of the SEC.
If you are trying in some unclear way to say they haven't ever had a team that is as athletic or physically gifted, then you may be right. Technology has made this a possibility.
They are on a roll and might win out but it's still early.

Do you know how silly your argument is. The teams of the past did what they did against the competition of the day. It isn't about how they would or wouldn't perform against today's players. It is how they DID perform against the best competition on the field in their time frame

I disagree, Cody got more publicity, but he wasn't significantly better. Chapman is has been more of an impact than Cody was against the pass, he's batted a few passes and has gotten a better pass rush.

This team hasn't proven shite yet. When we make it past LSU then start talking. When we win the SEC, THEN we will have accomplished something. Arkansas and florida are just road bumps to something bigger. We haven't won anything yet
