No I wasn't. This team would destroy a 70's team. Size and speed. You name me a bama team that beats this one the field. 2009 bama maybe, but doubtful

son, i've seen teams with joe namath at the helm and teams with snake stabler also. this may end up being your best team ever but i doubt that very much. your offense isn't good enough for that. your D may qualify but don't go thinking florida was all that good and that weiss really is an offensive genius. right now, i'd put bama in a group of 7 teams that might go all the way. of course, some of these 7 will drop back and y'all might be one of those. we'll see.

This is a very good football team but there is no way that you can make a definitive statement like that based off what we have seen so far.

The players are WAY BIGGER, WAY FASTER, have far more technology....if u really think any bama team from the 70's is staying within 2 TDs of this one....you are very wrong.

except at Nose Guard (Cody had a much bigger impact than Chapman). And we have some great LBs right now, But none of them are as BEAST as Rolando McClain. Julio Jones?

Our 92 Defense was better than this year or 2009. the 92 D didn't get torched the way Bama got torched in the first half tonight. We had the 2 Best Defensive Ends in football on the same line

QB and WR play is virtually non-existent. We have not needed them so far. We will against LSU.

The WR's MUST get better. They have time before LSU to do so.
I saw tons of improvement by the OL tonight,they lived up to some of the pre season hype and played very physical in the run game and hardly allowed Mc Carron to get touched.
I have been pleased with Mc Carron so far but he has to get some help from the wideouts. If they come around no one stops this offense.
