Probably splitting hairs between the two, but if you compare Lanning's years at Oregon against those same years for Kiffin I think it is easy to see why Lanning is considered a big catch in the college coaching world.

I'm not comparing resources between Oregon and Ole Miss, but in those 3.5 years, Lanning has accomplished more.

Yea they beat us but still no to me.

The problem is what the committee is saying. When asked about Oregon State being higher than Oregon, the response was they don't look at head-to-head as much as how they do the entire picture or how they do against a competitive set of teams. I have no problem with LSU at #6, but putting Auburn at #4 is a head-scratcher.

Alex Cora.
The correct answer is Ross Neltner.
For such a short statement, that was really hard to read.
Penn State would beat all 3 of these teams. So what is the difference between them and SMU?

LSU lost 4 games to non playoff teams, including an awful team.

They aren't beating any of those teams. Penn State is better, Boise is better and SMU has a QB that would have given LSU fits.

"Based on what"

That he's done it before?
I didn't realize the championship was today, but now I see what you were saying about the set up. LL Softball pitching is based on innings, so both pitchers had 12 innings to throw today.
As long as neither pitcher started a 7th inning today, they are good to go tomorrow.

re: SEC embarrassing themselves

Imagine having conference pride in any sport.
So how do you explain the ACC's winning record against the SEC?

LSU fans are super weird about Herbert

LSU fans are so thin skinned about Herbert because he his mentioned with Burrow. I seems like a really hard concept for some to grasp that they both can be good quarterbacks.

"Herbert lost, look how much better Burrow is." The whole concept is wierd.
So you don't consider Texas Tech a "soft" program, but do consider Oregon one?
Odd rant about Oregon, when the Chargers are playing, just because he played there.

The best QB in the league is from a "soft" school, per say.

Didn't work in 2011

One huge difference in 2019 that isn't hard to figure out.
Have statistics to back up this is the norm?

Cade York is a pro and is just over 50% at 50+.

They had plenty of time to pick up 10 or 15 more and put the kicker in a better situation.
2019 wasn't even that long ago to be so off on this statement.
