I would have guessed Wyoming, which is also the least populated state. Not sure how anyone forgets Missouri.

I'm actually surprised by this. Missouri has two big cities with pro sports teams. In fairness, those cities are almost not in Missouri.

Rhode Island has the longest official state name...also is the smallest state by area.
