Yep. There ARE a lot of mistakes, and Missouri is one of them.

Even Kansas City has been trying to get out of Missouri.

I'm actually surprised by this. Missouri has two big cities with pro sports teams. In fairness, those cities are almost not in Missouri.

I bet if you asked 10 people 8 of them would think Kansas City is in Kansas (which it is, but not THE KC which has the Chiefs and Royals)

This is surprising. I can name 10 more forgettable states than Missouri without any problem.

Geographic location is some reason for this. Both it's major cities are on the edges, and one of them has another state's name in it.

That's great news! We will be the last state to be invaded by the coastal scumbags.

Both your major cities are hugging the borders, desperately trying to escape the state. That says a lot about Missouri on a metaphysical level.

It's the exact fricking opposite. People in kansass come to Missouri to use our resources, claim our pro sports teams, use our airport,etc....stay the frick out. Why is the majority of the kansass population huddled up to the Missouri border and not Nebraska, Colorado or Oklahoma? Same dame thing with Illinois and St Louis but not nearly as bad.

You think the majority of the population of Illinois is hugging the border near STL? That’s fricking retarded.

No moron, learn to read I said same thing but not nearly as bad in that they come to the Missouri side to use the resources there a lot. Just stay on the kansas side of the border with your Westboro Baptist Church idiots.

Fair enough, you shouldn't speak on this then it's clear for those that live here.

I'm getting tired of people taking pot shots at Missouri, they have fared better than any other university added to the SEC. They are part of the SEC and will remain so

Educational lesson for you. Google which one was established first, the city of Kansas City, Mo, or the state of kansas.

Story basically explains. Too many M states. Thus, three in the bottom five. All three of which are arguably better known for their biggest cities.
