If there is one aspect that truly makes the Aggie fanbase pathetic it's their constant attempts to lump themselves in with others success.

You are a middle tier sports school. Accept it for your own good.

When it comes to LSU I would say it is their insecurity.

Insecure about what exactly? This is a sports forum and I’m not sure there is a single sport outside of something super obscure where the aggies are historically better or even close to LSU. I would call it more of an annoyance like fleas or mosquitoes

Exactly. They won’t provide a real answer.

It’s almost like enrollment is commensurate with the state’s population.

So larger enrollment = prestige?

Got it. U Phoenix, UCF, ASU > Harvard, Yale, Stanford.

I’m not positive but Central Fla and Ga State might have larger enrollments.

So what? It ain't like Texas high schools where a larger enrolment means more and better prospective athletes.

Each school has 85 scholarship players and a limit of 105 on the team whether the enrolment is Texas 8&4feit (66k) or Rice University (7k), with Rice winning 27 times vs. the Fightin' Faggies, BTW.

Interestingly enough in 2021, Texas 8&4feit managed to lose to four football teams from universities with much smaller enrolments. The Faggies eked out their biggest win over a school with 30k fewer students, so if enrolment is so important what's to brag about?

So tell me again, why does enrolment matter?

These Aggies are pathetic. Always trying to find something no matter how unimportant or obscure to hang their hat on. “Look at US!!! We are important!!!”

Texas A&M-
53% Men
47% Women

UT-
48% Men
52% Women

Apparently the women in Tennessee are smarter than the men

SEC schools by enrollment

Having commuter students on campuses scattered all over your state means little on the football field.

This ain't a football thread. This thread is about the Universities themselves. This may come as a shock but the schools are not about athletics with academics on the side. Not sure why this fact would have so many butthurt.
