I'll reserve judgment until mid April. We didn't look like a team primed for Omaha or even to host a regional at the midway point of the SEC season last year either. We replaced 8 starters in the field a couple years ago when we lost to Coastal in the supers.

Southeastern has been good for several years now, sorry if you haven't been paying attention. They've made the tournament 3 of the last 4 years (same as Arkansas btw), including the last 2, were the only non-P5 program to get an at-large bid last season, and have already beaten 3 ranked teams thus far this season. Believe it or not, you don't have to be a P5 team to field a good baseball team. A tiny little school called Coastal Carolina won the College World Series 2 years ago.

OP, remember that time a few years back when Arkyhog was preseason #2 or #1, and there was a thread here where a bunch of us predicted the usual flameout, and fun it was gonna be to watch Arky flail..And like clockwork it fell to form.
