First time a father and son played CFB during the same season. It was even more odd that they played the same position in the same division of the same conference.
Probably will never be duplicated.

Ah the era of Auburn having literally no running game to speak of, when tater tot thought every scat back could be the next Warrick Dunn.

Don't you dare disparage Markeith "The Little Lizard" Cooper!
The halcyon years of Rusty Williams and Cincade Pennington.

Also, frick this dude. I did NOT have fun at this game in TS.
God bless DC. He was 70+% of our offense in 1997 and had us a pubic hair away from beating Manning for the SECC.

I was at that game with my girlfriend and her dad. Craig and Cecil Collins put on a fricking show that night.

A&M was starting Brandon Stewart, who committed to Tennessee hoping to be the next Heath Shuler only to find out Peyton Manning was coming later that year.
He then made the questionable decision to stick and beat out Manning. Jerry Colquitt goes down with a knee injury, and each guy trades reps leading to the infamous Bama game where Manning stunk up the joint throwing multiple picks and missing wide open receivers and receiving boos from the Vols crowd.
In comes Stewart who engineers a 71 yard TD drive and then Dave Cutcliffe trots Manning right back out.
Even more interesting was the third option at QB was Todd Helton, who would go onto to a hall of fame 17 year MLB career with the Rockies
