Nashville and NOLA would be my preference but neither have the logistics.
Where does this often repeated falsehood come from? Nashville can handle a home NFL game and a home NHL game at the same time but can't handle an SECCG? Nashville can handle >250,000 for CMA Fest for a week every year but doesn't have the logistics for a college football game?

Right but as someone who has flown 4 million miles, avoiding Hartsfield, DFW, and Ohare was always a great thing.

I guess if you want all your money to go towards paying the NFL to host it and not spend money to stop crime.

Right, so just to recap: everyone in Alabama and Georgia wants to keep it in Georgia within a couple hours drive. Cites airport to support argument. Everyone else wants it to rotate to be more fair. Makes sense.
Oh, and the other cities don't have the "infrastructure" despite the fact they regularly host much larger events. Makes total sense.

That’s a pretty cool idea

Have you flown in and out of ATL multiple times
YES
or
NO
Have you flown in and out of BAN multiple times
YES
or
NO
If you did not answer YES to both it my be why you do not understand the point.

I am not in Alabama or Georgia and it is a long drive to ATL so it is more than just AL and UGA fans in close driving distance.

New Orleans is a dying crime ridden shithole.
Houston is a shittier version of Dallas, and too far south to be inclusive of OU and Ark. Dallas is within easy driving distance of Ark, OU, A&M, and UTX.
Don't need multiple locations in Florida. Of the 3 FL options listed, I prefer Miami.
Result would be a 4 city rotation. Miami and Nashville are destination cities. Dallas and Atlanta are amenity cities. Whole SEC footprint represented.
Good rotation all around.

Not gonna lie . . I like the idea.

Atlanta or Dallas, depending on the division of the previous year's champion.

I lived in Miami and would agree if this were the 50's, 60's, or 70's
When the Cocaine Cowboys brought in the drugs it all went to hell. The day they tore down "The Castaways" and sold all thew mob "carpet joints" to Trump was the end. Place is a shell of its former self and sterile high rises have replaced all the fun spots on the beach.
The past decade and I am feeling the same way about Charleston SC

Say what you will (good or bad) but they know travel in ATL.
ATL is great for through traffic and connections.
It is horrible for originating traffic. Funneling all 5 councourses worth of passengers through the same main terminal security checkpoints is AWFUL for large events, and barely keeps up woth regular weekly business travel in and out of Atlanta as it is.
Not sure how often you fly in/out of Atlanta during normal air traffic cycles, but ATL is a mess to be avoided if at all possible. Even pre-check and other statuses don't guarantee you'll get through the security line in less than an hour anymore. It's a shitshow.

No, it shouldn't. Atlanta is perfect because it's more or less the geographic center of the conference (screw you Texas) and it is right next to the busiest (as well as one of the largest) airports in the world.
I like it in Atlanta but this was only somewhat true before aTm and Mizzou got added. Once Texas and OU join New Orleans or Nashville at least is basically the new center of the conference in terms of NFL stadium location to geographic center of conference
Nashville maybe a little too far north vs. New Orleans a little too far south, but Atlanta would be way too far east

LMAO! I love how people brag about the shite hole that is the ATL airport. Travel much?
Nashville is getting a new stadium in a couple of years and a longer overdue airport expansion.
IMO it is the perfect location because it is central to many schools.

I get it if you are in Franklin as that is quickest to BAN but unless you fly private BAN is not my idea of a great airport. It is not that it is bad, like say SDF, but not even as good as say CVG, which is not exactly stellar either)

Also, nobody has responded to leaving ATL to the ACC.
GA is a feeder state and lots of ACC alumni would like to take the territory from the SEC.
